Account Executive, Sales and Marketing
POSITION SUMMARY:
Spray-All Corporation is dedicated to preserving the environment by manufacturing innovative products for the ever-increasing sustainability market. We are currently seeking an Account Executive who wants to grow with the company. Initially this will be a contract position reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting new business in the following verticals; existing non-green liquid producers, green liquid product manufactures, perfume and fragrance bottlers, green and non-green conscious consumers. Candidate must have the confidence and ability to independently prepare proposals, sales collateral and electronic media campaigns. In addition, the appropriate candidate will be comfortable engaging the public, potential clients, partners and customers on a daily basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops marketing materials, creates mailing list database, and sends email blasts.
- Effectively drives the proposal process and obtains approvals prior to submittal.
- Maintains quality results by following proposal writing standards including readability, consistency, tone and voice; maintains proposal database.
- Meets deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; monitoring and tracking data.
- Prepares proposals by assembling specific information including project nature, objectives, implementation, methods, timetable, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation.
- Prepares weekly speaking points for Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
- Successfully navigates the internet, state and federal business opportunity websites, researches potential partners and customers and coordinates sales process.
- Understands and articulates our solution and how it provides true value in multiple formats.

- Advocates public education on environmental issues and safe alternatives

REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires, at minimum, three years continuous practical professional business experience, sustainability or green technology industry a plus. Applicant will have practical experience with proposal writing and business to business marketing. Must be proficient with MS Excel/Word/Power Point; Visio and graphics packages a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial to success in this position. Must be detailed oriented, resourceful, flexible and be able to multi-task with little supervision. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Studies, Business Administration or Marketing.
Assists in the establishment, maintenance, and planning of the overall policies and goals for a business development division. Identifies potential business partners and negotiates agreements. May coordinate and negotiate with the product development, marketing and/or sales group.
Supports top management by providing analysis for evaluating new business opportunities such as government contracts, in/out licensing, collaborative research and development agreements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions.
Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with content and technological partners. Works with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.
Improves business development processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications systems.
Reviews, designs, and develops all aspects of the business development division's organizational development function. Develops training programs, facilitates implementation of appropriate change management initiatives, and reviews current development programs to ensure adherence to company goals. Responsible for continually building the company's stock of human capital and encouraging employee development. Measures performance to gauge success of programs. May lead and direct the work of others.
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 3 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
